Tonight we met with the Maple Plain city council and they approved the BMX Dirt Jump Park after our presentation on the jumps and the pump track and how we plan to build and maintain them.

There is a lot of work to be done yet. But the key here is that the City Council gave us and the Maple Plain Park Commission permisson to move forward with the plans. We have to find some contractors to move the dirt from it’s current location to the new location. A few of the members of the city council plan on making calls to get that done. Once that is done, we can set up a weekend to build the BMX Dirt jumps.

This is an exciting time for BMX in the west suburbs. We will have our first official dirt jump park. No more need to illegally build……..we are approved and ready to build a facility that will be for all skill levels from beginner riders to experts.

These are the plans for the Dirt Jump Park that we presented to the city. This will be one awesome set of jumps with a fun beginner line, an intermediate line with transfer options, and an advanced line with 6′ high tables for some serious air!

We will announce the build dates as soon as we know them. Thanks to all of the efforts by our crew for getting this organized and approved!
