After a couple months of planning with the State of Minnesota and the owner of the The Lodge at Giants Ridge we are excited to announce that MFC will be building a new downhill trail at Giants Ridge.

This is a huge opportunity to expand the quality and quantity of downhill trails offered in Minnesota. The trail will be on State land and will be open to the public at no charge. Initially, it will not be lift access but there may be several days of shuttle riding yet this year.

Trail planning and preparation has already begun, and there will be a major build effort on the weekend of July 17th and 18th. We are looking for volunteers to join us for this weekend. Our goal is to build a course in time to add a final destination to the Jolly Roger Series on September 11th, and we need your help.
